17 May - British Sandwich Designer Awards 2010 - Update!
An update on our field trip to London – to be honest it’s taken us a while to come back down to earth, what a great trip we had!
It was an amazing occasion full of pomp and ceremony (all to celebrate sandwiches!?) ….
And…..(drum roll please!) we won a category – our fabby Development Chef, Robbie Gleave, won Leerdammer Light Sandwich Designer of the Year 2010.
We are so proud of him and his delicious sandwich that won the judges over! It's called 'Leerdammer Light with Tonnato Rockdive', a delicious blend of Leedammer cheese, tuna, olives, rocket & endive - yummy!
We're hoping to get Robbie's delicious category winning sandwich and a few of the others he competed with made up into a delicious new platter soon!
